1. COLOR PROFILE
The first step is to capture your footage. Every camera has "color profiles" some are standard, styled, or LOG. Log is a greyed out looking image that retains the most amount of dynamic range.

2. COLOR CORRECT
The next step is to color correct your footage. You may need to correct your exposure, fix your white balance, or convert your LOG footage. You simply want to get the footage looking normal

3. COLOR GRADE
Once your footage is corrected, you can stylize it. This is where you can apply the CREATIVE LUTS to add the secret sauce to your footage, giving it a cohesive look across your visuals.
